Privacy policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This policy describes how information is handled through omythedj.com and its internal social publishing tools. These services are operated under the Omy The DJ name in Jacksonville, Florida. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to contact@omythedj.com.
The social publishing tools are limited to accounts owned by the business. They are not a public service for visitors to connect their TikTok accounts. Visiting this website or sending an inquiry does not connect your social account or authorize posting to it.
Information you provide
- Inquiries and communication: your name, email address, optional phone number, event type and date, message, and your choice about inquiry-related text messages.
- Event planning: details you submit through planning forms or correspondence, such as venue, schedule, music preferences, playlists, participant names, and event contacts.
- Appointments: contact details and booking information you provide when scheduling a call through Google Calendar.
- Content: photos, videos, captions, and other materials you provide for an agreed project or publication.
Please share only information needed for your request. If you provide another person’s details or media featuring them, make sure you have the authority or permission needed to do so. Avoid including passwords, payment card details, or sensitive personal information in a website form.
Website and device information
Hosting and service providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages requested, referring page, timestamps, and error or security logs to deliver and protect the website.
The event page uses browser local storage to remember which spotlight item has been shown. Embedded Instagram content and the Google booking calendar connect to those providers when loaded and may send them technical information or allow them to use cookies and similar technologies. Their own privacy policies govern their handling of that information.
You can clear this site’s stored data and manage cookies in your browser settings. Blocking third-party content or storage may affect embedded media and booking features. Email is also available for inquiries and booking requests.
Social account connections and publishing
When enabled through Post for Me, social publishing features may process the connected account’s identifier and handle, profile information allowed by the granted permissions, authorization and refresh tokens, selected media and captions, scheduling and visibility settings, and posting status or error information.
That information is used to maintain the authorized connection, prepare or deliver selected posts, and troubleshoot publishing. The data available depends on the permissions actually granted and the features in use. TikTok authorization happens through TikTok; website visitors are not asked to supply a TikTok password.
Post for Me handles the connection and publishing information needed for enabled features. Content sent to TikTok is then handled by TikTok and may become visible according to the post’s selected audience. This policy does not replace Post for Me’s privacy policy or TikTok’s privacy policy.
Optional AI publishing features
When enabled, AI-assisted publishing features may send instructions, selected content, and relevant responses from connected tools to the AI service provider. Processing is governed by the privacy terms and settings of the service used. For Grok integrations, see Grok’s privacy information.
Using this website does not itself give Grok access to your social account. This policy is not permission to reuse customer inquiries, private messages, or event guest information for unrelated AI processing.
How information is used and shared
Information is used to respond to inquiries, arrange and provide services, plan events, communicate about bookings, manage the business’s social content, maintain the website, address misuse, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations.
- Web3Forms processes website form submissions for delivery to the business. See its privacy policy.
- Hosting and communications providers support site delivery, storage, email, and appointment scheduling. Google handles the embedded booking calendar under its privacy policy.
- Social and publishing providers process embedded content or the publishing activity described above. Instagram’s handling is described in Meta’s privacy policy.
- Other recipients may receive information at your direction, where needed to deliver your agreed services, or where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.
External ticketing, payment, and social links take you to services with their own privacy practices. Those services handle information you provide to them directly. Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
Retention and deletion
Retention depends on the purpose of the information: inquiries and planning details support your request or booking; business records may be needed for accounting, disputes, or legal obligations; and connection data supports an active social account integration. Provider storage and backup practices can affect when copies are removed.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information held about you, email contact@omythedj.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Include the relevant email address, account handle, or event to help locate the records. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or identification documents unless an appropriate verification method has first been arranged.
Requests may require verification. The business will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any information that must be retained. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights to obtain a copy, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator.
Authorized account owners can revoke access through the platform’s connected-app settings or disconnect the account through Post for Me. Disconnecting access and deleting stored records are separate actions. Removing a connection does not itself remove content already published on TikTok; published content must be managed on TikTok. Requests concerning personal information in content published by the business can be sent to the contact address above.
Messages and children’s information
If you choose inquiry-related texts, you can reply STOP to withdraw that choice. Contact preferences can also be updated by email.
Website forms are intended for clients, event organizers, and parents or guardians. Children under 13 should not submit information directly. A parent or organizer may provide information about a child when needed to plan an event. Reports of direct submissions by a child and requests to remove a child’s information can be sent to the contact address above.
Security and policy changes
No website, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Suspected issues involving information submitted through these services can be reported to the contact address below.
This page and its revision date will be updated when these practices change. The business will provide any additional notice or obtain consent required by applicable law. Questions can be sent to contact@omythedj.com.
